to my dear bloggers...

I hope you found the 2 slides with the hw problems on the stem and leaf post from yesterday.

I see some of you guys on the blog every single day leaving great comments. Kudos for that! You're a great group and I have a lot of fun working with you.

Special "candy" reward tomorrow for any of you guys who post a comment tonight on the blog. It's my hardworkers special treat! Take care

Mr. B.

Stem and leaf plot, Nov 17th

Hi there! Fun class today. I really enjoyed having you working on projects like that. We'll do it again soon! Here are the few slides on stem and leaf plots

Don't forget to review for tomorrow's quiz! The blog is a great tool for that as it offers the possibility to do some preactice problems and review our notes.

In addition to that I post below 2 systems that you can try to solve to review and I'll post the solutions later tonight! Have fun!

Have a terrific week end! And don't forget to check out TRACES!

TRACES

Hope you're enjoying your day off..

Hi there,

How does it feel to get a little break? I hope you guys are recovering from Halloween week end and you didn't get sick of eating all these "bonbons"!!

Billie and I went for a walk in our neighborhood on halloween night to get a sense of a real american halloween. That was pretty...sweet.

We were dressed as french people which was already pretty scary. I hope you guys enjoyed the french candy and your first Tintin episode. Enjoy the break and see you Wednesday!

Your favorite french math teacher!

Hi there!

I hope everything went fine today on your mini test. Mr Ortiz said you guys were great and I'm not surprised because that's how you are everyday! I

Branham brought to my attention that I had accidentally put 2 different variables on #8. Ooops, my mistake! I apologize and the good news is #8 is then in your pocket no matter what your answer was. It was my mistake!

I will correct those tests and your  monday's classwork for Friday so we can add that to your grades. I will also finish to check your binders to add another good grade to your report card.

Some of you have asked me about the VB game. We unfortunately lost to a team that was probably not better than us. It was very close once again and it's of course a little frustrating! Kudo to SCF though who played hard and showed great attitude asking me to give more playing time to her friend Niki. SC, don't give up, next year will be yours and ours! Go bulldogs!!!

See you all tomorrow, 7:25pm I'm leaving my classroom...

Pumpkin who just got its green card!!!

Worksheet corrections (10/28)

Hi there,

Here are the corrections for the worksheet that you finished with Mr V. The interview went well and I got my green card!!!!!

See you tomorrow!

1.         9x - 22 = 23 + 4x                                             2.

            -4x                 -4x

             5x – 22 = 23                                                               2y – 27 = 6y + 9

3.                                                        4.         4x + 8 -2x = 10x - 3(2x + 5) + 5

            2x – 1 = 12x + 9                                                          2x + 8 = 10x – 6x – 15 + 5

           -12x      -12x                                                                2x + 8 = 4x - 10

Hi there,

I've tried all week last week to resist this bad virus but my voice finally surrendered Yesterday. That's the reason I wasn't at school today (difficult to teach without your voice). I should be back tomorrow if medications work as predicted. How was today? I missed you guys
