Worksheet corrections (10/28)

Hi there,

Here are the corrections for the worksheet that you finished with Mr V. The interview went well and I got my green card!!!!!

Mr. B

1.         9x - 22 = 23 + 4x                                             2.       

            -4x                 -4x                                                        

 

             5x – 22 = 23                                                               2y – 27 = 6y + 9

 

                 + 22   +22                                                               -6y          -6y

 

                    5x = 45                                                                -4y – 27 = 9

                      x=9                                                                          +27   +27

                                                                                                            -4y = 36

                                                                                                               Y = -9

 

 

 

3.                                                        4.         4x + 8 -2x = 10x - 3(2x + 5) + 5

 

            2x – 1 = 12x + 9                                                          2x + 8 = 10x – 6x – 15 + 5

            

           -12x      -12x                                                                2x + 8 = 4x - 10

           -10x – 1 = 9

                    +1    +1                                                                -4x       -4x

                 -10x = 10

                       X = -1                                                               -2x = -18

                                                                                                   X = 9

I am so sad Mr. Lightsey came to our class to remove people to Mrs. Longs! :( But I am sure you are going to do  great in that class- ya-yah!

I felt today in class that I was understanding everything more! It made me feel a lot better. Also after Mr. B left and we did the wksheet we compared and contrasted what we got with others. It helped me to see my mistakes and strengths!

Volleyball- you are going to beast it up on wednsday. you work very hard and it will so pay off! good luck you guys rock!
