When in doubt, be MEAN!!!
The mean is the best representative for a set of data because it shows the number if their was a regular number, like a break even student getting a break even grade. However, median works when you have an outlier. Don't even ask about mode. It doesn't work.
To keep track of where you are when counting the median...cross off each number from both sides to help you remember!
